Join us for a magical festive season at the Singapore Botanic Gardens! Trees of the World is back with a bang!
- Date: 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026
- Time: 7pm to 12 midnight
- Venue: Various Locations across Singapore Botanic Gardens
Special Celebrations
This year’s edition of Trees of the World is extra special as we celebrate three significant milestones: 10 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 150 years of the Singapore Herbarium and Singapore Botanic Gardens Library of Botany and Horticulture, and 30 years of the National Orchid Garden.
Bringing the Community Together
Trees of the World is a community programme that connects people with nature while raising funds for the Give to the Gardens programme – an initiative that supports the Singapore Botanic Gardens’ conservation, research, and education efforts. Families, individuals, and organisations are invited to join in by sponsoring and decorating specially curated native trees to celebrate the festive season. Through your participation, you can help protect our environment and become part of the Gardens mission to conserve Singapore's natural spaces while inspiring a shared appreciation for nature.
Making a Lasting Difference
What makes Trees of the World special is its lasting legacy. The beautifully decorated native trees that are displayed during the festive season will later be planted across Singapore’s parks and green spaces, greening the nation for generations to come.
Visitors can also enjoy four spectacular festive displays located at the Green Pavilion, Tyersall Visitor Centre, Nassim Visitor Centre, and Bukit Timah Gate in the Gardens, each featuring biodiversity from across North America, Asia, South America, and Oceania.
Through the Garden City Fund, NParks’ registered charity, we collaborate closely with the community on initiatives like Trees of the World that support important education, outreach, research and conservation projects, continuing Singapore Botanic Gardens’ 166-year legacy of environmental stewardship.
