LOY Contemporary Art Gallery proudly presents Mosaic SG, a curated showcase of mixed media paintings that brings together a new generation of Italian artists for their debut in Asia.
Art in Italy is deeply rooted in the pages of Art History, from the Mosaics of the Ostrogoths to the spatialist canvasses of Fontana.
Presenting Ariele Bacchetti, Bruno Fantelli and Nina Ćeranić. Mosaic SG embodies the idea of unity through diversity — each artist contributing a unique perspective that together shapes a cohesive, resonant whole. With innate sensibility, our artists explore lyrical colours and refined textures through thoughtful, contemplative compositions. As part of Singapore Art Week 2026, this exhibition marks a milestone in cross-cultural artistic exchange — fostering deeper dialogue between Italy and Singapore through contemporary art.
“We are mosaics—pieces of light, love, history, stars—all glued together with magic and music and words.”— Anita Krishnan
Inspired by the words of Anita Krishnan, Mosaic SG explores how individuality and collectivity coexist, thriving joyfully together in the artistic process. Each work represents a fragment of emotion, history, and imagination — much like Singapore’s own cultural landscape. The exhibition positions itself as a bridge between European and Asian contemporary art, both reflecting LOY Gallery’s ongoing mission to create meaningful platforms for international artistic dialogue and demonstrating Italy’s finest contemporary art in Singapore.
