This year, Orchid Extravaganza spotlights the rich heritage and diversity across eight regions of Indonesia.

Featuring more than 7,000 orchids, including native species and varieties, it is presented in partnership with the Ministry of Creative Economy of Indonesia and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore. Striking woven artworks and larger-than-life sculptural pieces using the traditional anyaman weaving technique with coconut leaves and bamboo, are featured alongside architectural recreations of traditional Sumbanese houses with their soaring roofs and multi-tiered Balinese Meru towers. Cultural motifs, including bold Toba Batak patterns and intricate ikat designs reflect the stories, beliefs and craftsmanship across the Indonesian archipelago.
